Hologram Electronics is a small manufacturer based in Knoxville, TN, that focuses on making unusual stompboxes featuring several effects circuits interacting with each other in intriguing, often unexpected ways. Engineers Jason Campbell and Ryan Schaefer put also a lot attention on an aspect almost entirely overlooked by the community of pedal manufacturers: control automation.
At once musical and creative, Hologram pedals are made for adventurous musicians and sound designers, and work as well with any instrument with a line out, synths included – as a matter of facts, they can be categorized under the “synth pedal” umbrella.
Their first stompbox, the Dream Sequence (presented as “a sequencer, an envelope shaper, a pitch shifter, a sampler, and more”), was probably the most critically acclaimed pedal of 2016, garnering “Best of the Year” recognition from Gearphoria, Pedals And Effects and Best Guitar Effects.

…tracks the dynamics of your playing, samples individual notes and chords, and then reinterprets them as new sounds using two independent channels of infinite sustain. It offers 4 separate sampling effects in one: Blur, Synth, Glitch, and Swell.
