Animals Pedal is an emerging Japanese pedal company known for their colorful pedal art and quirky names, which has attracted attention in the USA with their recent design collaborations with American builders Skreddy Pedals and Wren and Cuff.
Their latest device is a, simple, affordable and flexible overdrive/boost called “Vintage Van Driving is Very Fun” that can deliver a variety of tones from clean boost to medium gain dirt. Engineered to respond well to both single coil and humbucker pickups, it delivers a sharp, thick tone through the former and a musical attack with smooth, silky sustain through the latter.
