Stereo Vintage Ensemble Front 1200x12001 e1542126942667

In 2018 Mr. Black has been working on a stereo version of his modulation and delay pedals, which visitors of the L.A. Stompbox Exhibit had a chance to try through this board.

The Vintage Ensemble is a recreation of the legendary Roland Unit from the ’70s and features a “true-stereo audio path with standard and spatial-expansion modes.”

The real magic lies within the Stereo mode, which applies a clever application of complimentary modulated delay times to both the left and right channels further increasing the stereo spread via the Haas effect.

An expression pedal input allows control of any setting through an external pedal.

Specially designed to replicate that original 1976 “Chorus Ensemble” sound, features a true-stereo audio path with standard and spatial-expansion modes, accessible on the fly via the Normal/Stereo foot-switch.
