A faithful take on the now out of production MuTron Phase Shifter, the LuckDuck Pedals’ Nu-Tron II is a 6-stage optical phaser that replicates the original’s liquid tone and functionality while updating it with higher quality components.

LDP’s take on the classic optical phaser effect. This is an updated and modernized remake of the now out-of-production 6-stage, optical phaser effect, that both stays true to the original in tone and functionality, but also utilizes a modern power supply section and higher quality components. This means that it can be used w/ any industry standard “boss style” 9vdc adapter or modern pedal power supply (voodoo labs pp2, ect.).
This pedals has a nice range of sounds and is a very versatile phaser for a 3 knob pedal…From smooth vibrato-esque phase, to vibe style sounds, to full on space-ship warble. Each one is built by hand, and with this particular effect, the LDR’s (light dependent resistors) are hand-matched for each of the phase stages to get the best sounding phase effect. It also now features true-bypass switching for no “tone suckage”, when the pedal is bypassed. The artwork is full color silk-screen printed and powder coated for maximum durability.
If you’re into phaser or uni-vibe style effects effects, or you’re looking for a really unique pedal/sound this is the ultimate (and maybe only) remake of this vintage phase pedal.
