The Whaler is an original Matthew Effects circuit and is great for guitar or bass. It can take you from worlds of velcro to warm dark chasm’s of fuzz’s of old. Its dynamic tone controls will allow you to create unique and original sounds that help set you apart in the mix.”

At NAMM 2019 the young UK builder introduced V2, which features a completely redesigned sustain control and an extra gain stage and – of course – a very sexy dark enclosure!

Here’s the list of controls:

Output – Volume of the effect

Sustain – Controls amount of fuzz

Squish – Control bias of the fuzz

Tone – Turned clockwise, increases highs and decreases lows and vice versa

Body – Lets you scoop the mids
