The exhibit, featuring dozens of stompbox manufacturers (see list at the bottom), will be sponsored by Washburn Guitars, AKG Headphones, Dunlop Strings and George L’s Cables.
Stompblox and T-Rex Fuel Tank– although not official sponsors – will be providing pedalboards and power for the mixed boards.
Here are all the details you need – bring your guitars!!!
WHEN: March 19-21 from 11am to 6pm.
WHERE: The event will be hosted at the Austin Convention Center on 500 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX,
HOW MUCH: Entry will be free for all, the event is open to the public, no SXSW badge is necessary to attend.
HOW IT WORKS: Musicians are invited to bring their own guitars and plug them in directly into the stompboxes If you don’t have your six string with you, you’ll be able to borrow a Washburn guitar. Pedals will be organized on StompBlox boards and connected to Shure headphones fed by PreSonus headphone preamps.
