El Músico Loco is a small team of designers, founded in Spain but currently based out of California. They shoot for concise design, stating, “… [our] effects are one box, one effect. Simple designs. The essence of utility.” Not everything about their catalog is COMPLETELY utilitarian though; their pedals are all housed in beautiful chrome enclosures, giving them that little bit of flash and style every boutique pedal deserves. Their latest, the Siamese Scream, uses the same basic circuit as the EHX Big Muff, but tweaks the classic design for a more compact circuit size, better tone control, and grittier fuzz.
